The ZAPCAT is the tightest turning and fastest inflatable power boat available on the
market. It is designed to jump offshore waves and race between their troughs with ease.
Standard model has a smooth contoured tunnel, aerodynamic GRP nose cone with internal
cross bracing and a transom capable of supporting 70 HP! Lift control can be fitted
which acts like a spoiler, preventing the boats bow from lifting at high speed so
that more thrust can be applied from higher HP motors. The large hijackers are reinforced
and squared off forming flat planing surfaces completely covered with heavy PVC protection
enabling you to beach the boat without scuffing the hull.
The new Zapcat G8 recently made its
debut coming 1st and 2nd in the Trans Agulhas Challenge (held every New Years through
Christmas). The G8 is now available for sale to the public after two years of testing and
development. It features a new rear cone shape to give increased aft buoyancy, a wider
tunnel and a new transom and nose cone design.
Transom: The open wash-through transom is made of high quality aluminum filled with
hardwood. It is designed to instantly disperse any water entering the boat and support
heavy outboards in the most severe conditions with confidence. Multiple overlapping layers
of fabric are used to brace the transom mount to the pontoons. Floorboards: Mahogany marine-ply at 12 mm (½") or
lightweight honeycomb aluminum with optional Neoprene padding.
The Zapcat G8 is available in various color combinations, and its superior
performance, as well as its dynamic appearance, has led to its being sought
after by boat enthusiasts throughout the sporting fraternity.
Take a Zapcat for a test ride and
find for yourself why it has become known as the Rolls Royce of inflatable boats.
